About Noor-ul-Quran

Noor-ul-Quran (“Light of the Quran”) is a free, ad-free digital companion for reading the Holy Quran in Uthmani Arabic, understanding it through established Urdu and English translations, and listening to renowned reciters.

Our principles

• Quranic text is shown exactly as published by its source and is never generated, edited or paraphrased by software or AI.
• Translations are clearly separated from the Arabic, attributed to their translators, and never altered.
• Recitations are original recordings, credited to their reciters. We never synthesise or imitate a reciter’s voice.
• Every dataset passes automated integrity checks, and every published video or post is approved by a person first.
• Reading is free, needs no account, and has no intrusive advertising.

What we are not

Noor-ul-Quran does not issue religious rulings (fatwas) or publish its own tafsir. For interpretation, please consult qualified scholars and established works of tafsir.
